The National Awards for Excellence is Australia’s premier award night for the restaurant and catering industry. The award night was held last night in Sydney. It is the culmination of 10 region award events held throughout the year and around the country.

Last night saw 270 finalists in 34 categories; it’s the best that Australia has to offer fighting it out to determine the best of the best.
Back in September Garfish Manly won the Sydney Metropolitan area award for Best Seafood Restaurant Informal, going into the National Awards we knew that the competition would be fierce but we came out on top, winning our category and being presented with the National Award: Best Seafood Restaurant.
