It’s officially autumn and while it may not yet feel like it outside, our new Crows Nest menu will have you forgetting about this heat.
Our chefs have put together a range of mouth watering new dishes that feature the best produce of the season. Prawns, scallops, bugs and salmon – our autumn menu has plenty of options for seafood lovers, as well as something for the meat lovers too.
And if you’re craving a sweet finish to your meal, our dessert menu is packed full of delicious seasonal fruits.
Below is a sneak peek of what you can expect from the menu this autumn at Crows Nest:
Seafood entrees
We think you’ll agree there’s nothing better than bite-sized seafood to start your meal!
First up are these Roast queensland eastern king prawns w/ baba ghanoush, sumac + fine herb salad.
Or how about these Smoked cod croquettes w/ salmoriglio + prosciutto?
Our Maple house smoked atlantic salmon w/ horseradish labneh + manuka honey is sweet and delicious.
And taking inspiration from the change of season are these Seared scallops w/ morcilla, beetroot + autumn leaves.
The main event
Our mains are sure to satisfy this autumn.
Seafood lovers are spoiled for choice with these roast moreton bay bugs w/ nori, black garlic butter + miso aioli.
Or how about this roast whole baby barramundi* w/ bush tomato, piquillo, capers, olives + native basil?
Meat lovers are catered for too and we think this grilled ‘grainge’ sirloin* w/ chimmichuri, chips + smoked paprika salt will hit the spot this autumn.
Leave room for dessert
Fruit lovers won’t know where to start this autumn! We have this muscat glazed autumn stone fruits w/ spiced yoghurt, honeycomb + orange blossom sorbet.
Or our strawberries + cream w/ white chocolate ice cream + strawberry sponge looks heavenly.
For a dessert full of flavour try this blood orange + almond cake^ w/ honey mascarpone + pistachio brittle.
And this peanut + banana parfait*^ w/ chocolate + caramel popcorn is not to be missed!
