The weather’s heating up and our chefs have created some sweet tasting dishes full of the fruity flavours that Spring offers. Here’s what we’ve got on the menu this week.
Over at Manly, the coconut crumbed king prawns w/ mango, apple, Thai herbs and crisp noodle salad w/ tamarind & palm sugar dressing, might be a mouthful to say, but it’s a sweet, fragrant dish perfect for enjoying the harbour view and the spring sunshine.
Too sweet to resist: peach & rhubarb pie with cream anglaise and wine & fruit jelly at Kirribilli.
Continuing the sweet, refreshing theme, Kirribilli has an irresistible dessert special of peach & rhubarb pie with cream anglaise and wine & fruit jelly.
But we don’t want you to rush through your mains just so you can order dessert. You can start your meal with Kirribilli’s other special on offer of smoked cod, salmon and caramelised onion croquettes with rocket and aoli, which is worth serious consideration.
