Last night in Manly, Garfish played host to a group of Sydney Food Bloggers in our private dining room overlooking Manly Wharf. It was a fabulous night out, with the bloggers getting a sneak preview and a chance to review the dishes that may make it onto the new Spring menu.
With pencils, iPhones and cameras in hand, our bloggers ate their way through the evening, making notes as they went.
David James, CEO of Brasserie Bread (supplier of breads to Garfish) also attended and entertained the group with a short history of Brasserie Bread as well as an insightful discussion on the making of good (great!) sour dough.
The Menu
Canapes
pacific oysters, from pipeclay lagoon, tas

What a fantastic night! Thank you for inviting me!! Everything was delicious!!!
The food was just fabulous. I particularly loved, the care in making the blue swimmer crab bisque by roasting green shells, and … the end result of the velvety soup.
The calamari w/ rocket, date, parmesan & prosciutto wrap was an unexpected combination, and it worked really really well.
And, thanks for looking after us so well during the evening too … @frombecca
Our pleasure Rebecca, glad you enjoyed
