It’s hard to believe that we’re at this time of year already but it’s true, the weather is cooling down in Sydney but at least there is one thing to brighten us all up – Vivid Sydney. And it starts tonight – May 24th.

The festival of lights run every day through until June 10th.

Bigger than ever, this year the festival has an even larger footprint, at Garfish Kirribilli we’re very excited to see an installation on our side of the harbour at Luna Park.

Most of the lights and displays are on every night throughout the festival, however if you’re a Doctor Who fan be sure to put 1 June in your calendar – there’s a one off event celebrating the show’s 50th anniversary. More information here on the Vivid website.

To plan your trip be sure to check the Vivid website, download their smartphone apps or view the PDF map of the festival.

And if you need something warm in your belly before you kick off perhaps an early supper at Garfish Kirribilli then a stroll across the bridge – just remember to bring your gloves and scarf!

Free ferry service

This is a great way to get to and from Vivid Sydney!

The free Vivid Sydney Harbour Shuttle ferry service is operating during the festival, between Kirribilli, Walsh Bay and Darling Harbour from 6pm-midnight every night.
